9. I'm thankful to God to have been born in a nation that values liberty not only for itself, but for all people, everywhere.
10. Being away from my family for an extended time (this is day 11 of 16) pales in comparison to the sacrifice and dedication of US soldiers, but helps me appreciate their gift to me and my family. Accordingly, my appreciation is best expressed in my public affirmation and ongoing prayer.

well, I'm at the NAMB annual update in Greenville, SC, and the Hilton has a computer to use. None of my email posts actually posted. Thanks Blogger. Hopefully that will be fixed with the Googlebux behind the new operation.
I'll post more later. But before I go, I had to share my most profound experience of the day. I walked in to the hotel bathroom, and for the most brief of moments, was filled with dread that I had recklessly entered the women's bathroom. The air freshener they used to mask men's odors was alarmingly floral.
Then I saw the urinals and was immediately relieved.
